Skills for Success Georgia
Skills for Success Georgia fosters employability of disadvantaged youth, who currently not in work or emplyoment. These youngsters did not have a lot of chances in life, because of their family situation and the (remote) region they grew up. This project aims to support (social) entrepreneurial learning and market-driven skills development. Retaining youth (particularly disadvantaged youth and women) through non-formal education and career guidance. Through small steps towards (social) entrepreneurship Konrad Adenauer Stiftung and INNOFIUS help them start their own business or social entreprise. As a part of this project, INNOFIUS designed study visits and entrepreneurial trainings in Belgium and the Netherlands for Georgian young entrepreneurial ambassadors and youth. The main goal was to strengthen the capacity of young entrepreneurs by connecting them with their EU counterparts, introducing to the best practices and examples of innovative business ideas. “Skills for Success” is a project implemented by Save the Children Georgia, Youth Agency of Georgia, Youth Workers’ Association of Georgia and Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) and is funded by the EU “Skills4Jobs” Program.
